The primary focus for SPS is parking systems development, implementation and management. These specialties will manifest themselves in many different fashions, most often in the form of valet parking development and management for commercial clients across the market. Parking management and valet offerings provide an enhanced perception, value and presentation to all that are visiting a property. This perception is what drives return visits, word of mouth and over all positive consumer sentiment. SPS is focused on creating an ease of use to all end users at any property it serves. Ian Merchant
Managing Operations, Mr. Merchant brings eleven years of management experience. Mr. Merchant is responsible for the supervision and development of SPS and Transtar’s full service Dispatch unit as well as Resort Service Operations. Developing innovative and constantly evolving policies and procedures to meet the needs of the market, drivers, clients and Transtar as a whole, are Ian’s primary task. The Dispatch unit tracks all fleet activity and maintains record of all interactions Transtar has with passengers and drivers. This tracking and recording is completed utilizing state of the art software which utilizes global positioning technology to deliver real time data. The data received is in multiple outputs. Dispatchers may utilize this technology to ascertain the speed at which a vehicle is travelling, distance from a specific zone or location, as well as the current status of a vehicle. In addition to the real time data, the system produces reports of which can be utilized for driver coaching and training, effective field management, quality assurance and overall safety measures.
